ceilings plus logoGone are the days when ceilings of office buildings and other public spaces were covered with plain, perforated tiles hanging from a rectilinear grid. Ceilings Plus® is a leading provider of modern, aesthetic ceiling products with beautiful finishes using a wide range of wood and metal finishes, giving any project a very high-end feel at competitive prices.

THINK OUTSIDE OF THE GRID WITH CEILINGS PLUS®

Radians

The shortest distance between two points of inspiration is often a curve. Perhaps that’s why architects throughout the ages have used vaults and domes. In the modern era, you might have your own reasons to use curved ceiling panels – such as creating increased clearance above a ceiling for ductwork, or to allow daylighting to penetrate deeper into a room. Lightweight, acoustical, and fully downward accessible, Radians® ceilings break the 3-dimensional barrier with a smoothness of gesture executed with uncompromising precision.

Illusions

Illusions™ ceilings began with a dream: what would be the ideal ceiling system? From the start, it is great looking – with exciting finishes, concealed suspension system, and panel sizes to match any space. Driven by this vision, Ceilings Plus created Illusions, the most successful metal and wood ceiling system in existence.

panellite Logo

Panelite materials provide an unparalleled combination of aesthetics and performance for design and architecture. The company pioneered the translucent honeycomb panel in 1998 and continues to develop products expanding on the significant benefits of translucent composites.

Four things you can do with Panelite that you can’t do with glass:

Panelite Bonded Series panels are light-transmitting, light-weight and easy to install.

Mitered Corners

Self-structural pre-fabricated mitered corners reduce labor costs and installation time, ensuring a clean, minimal aesthetic.

Curves On A Budget

Curved Panelite panels weigh roughly 16% as much as glass and are easy to handle.

Quick Build Installs

Panelite can be fabricated on site and installed with quick and clean detailing.

Accommodate Systems

Unlike glass, Panelite panels can be cut to accommodate systems such as HVAC ducts, plumbing pipes, sprinklers...etc.

Zinc Counter Tops and Bars

Zinc is a long-lasting metal that changes color over time, giving the surface a seasoned look with inherent warmth that many other metals lack. In addition, because zinc is malleable and easy to work with, edges can be molded into decorative shapes and treatments for optimal design alternatives.

Bill Wade

Bill Wade

Bill Wade co-founded WAS with his father, Lisle Wade, in 1988. He holds an engineering degree from Auburn University and had a number of construction jobs during his college summers. Job titles included iron worker, panel erector and an industrial chimney sweep (that one was bad). He spent 3 ½ years in sales for Xerox prior to starting WAS.

Bill enjoys working with architects in the building design phase, the competitive bid process and working with installers to see a quality finished project. Sometimes we only get past stage 1 or 2 but that’s the way things go!

Bill enjoys skiing, fishing, cross training, and reading books with lots of pictures during his time off.

Christy Serafini

Christy Serafini

With a background in Residential Construction and Engineering, Christy Serafini started at Wade Architectural Systems (WAS) as an Administrative Assistant in 2003. In 2006, realizing Christy was not being used to the best of her abilities, she was promoted to Project Manager and Sales. Since that time, Christy has taken on various roles and positions for the company and is now considered WAS’ Business Manager. However, she continues finding time to quote projects and still loves the thrill of a big sale!

Christy wears a lot of hats at WAS! Above all, her main goal is good customer service. That requires making sure projects run as smoothly as possible as well as assist contractors with any issues that may arise and maintain good communication between supplier, Architect, contractor and installer.

At times it appears Christy is married to this job, but when she does take a break, she enjoys spending time with her “actual” husband and daughters, relaxing at the lake with a good book, or in front of the TV watching football. Go Houston Texans!!

Trash Chutes

Wilkinson Hi-Rise trash chutes are constructed of #16 gauge aluminized steel, galvanneal and several different grades of stainless steel. Sound dampening coating can be applied to outside of chute to minimize noise emitted by the chute. Further sound protection is provided by applying a “wrap” insulation to the exterior of the chute. The floor frames of the chute are typically equipped with sound isolator pads at each floor connection point to isolate the chute from the floor of the structure.
