Overview

Carry one material across the building.

Standing Seam can transition from roof to wall while maintaining a consistent material language, making it especially effective for buildings where the envelope is intended to read as one continuous architectural form.

  • Create strong directional lines

Raised seams establish a consistent linear pattern that can reinforce height, length, slope, or the geometry of the building itself.

  • Keep the surface uninterrupted

Panels are secured with concealed clips beneath the seams, keeping exposed fasteners off the finished zinc surface.

  • Adapt to complex forms

Straight, tapered, concave, and convex panels can be fabricated to accommodate curved roofs, walls, and other project-specific geometry.

Make the envelope read as one gesture.

Standing Seam can connect roof planes, facades, and curved transitions without changing material systems, helping complex building forms feel more unified.

Standing Seam panels are formed with raised longitudinal seams and secured with concealed clips. Final panel width, seam configuration, and length are coordinated with the application.

One system. Roof to wall.

Standing Seam can continue across sloped roofs, vertical facades, and curved transitions, allowing the zinc envelope to read as a single material composition rather than a collection of separate roof and wall systems.

Finishes

Standing Seam is available in architectural zinc finishes from VMZINC, NedZink, and elZinc. Long panel runs create broad areas of uninterrupted material, allowing the zinc tone and natural surface variation to become a prominent part of the building envelope. Select a finish below to preview it or order a sample.

Finish swatches are approximate. Appearance can vary by coil and will continue to develop as the zinc weathers. Specify from physical samples.Request finish samples
