Clay Shambley joined Wade Architectural Systems in October of 2017.  He has a BS in Civil Engineering from North Carolina Sate University.  Lisle Wade hired and trained Clay as a Sales Engineer for E.G. Smith (now Centria) in 1978.  Clay has spent his entire career in the metal panel industry including National Sales Manager at Moncrief Lenoir (also with Lisle) and VP of Sales and Marketing at AEP Span.  In 1990, Clay established SPS of North Carolina and served as President and Owner until selling the business in 2011.

Clay is excited about reuniting with old friend and mentor Lisle Wade, and looks forward to bringing the Wade Architectural Systems brand to the Carolinas.

In his spare
time, Clay enjoys playing golf (especially spirited matches with his 3 sons)
and traveling with his wife Anne.

David Shambley

David Shambley

David joined Wade Architectural Systems in 2019 as a member of our Cary, North Carolina office. He is a graduate of UNC-Wilmington where he was a member of the baseball team.

After college, David spent 4 years as a performance trainer for professional and amateur athletes. More recently, he spent 3 years in enterprise software sales for SAS. He is excited about getting to work with his dad, Clay, and to help bring the Wade Architectural Systems brand to the Carolinas.

Outside of work, David enjoys playing golf, exercising, and traveling as much as possible.

North and South Carolina have experienced robust growth recently and economists expect increased construction activity in these regions for several years. Wade Architectural Systems is looking forward to participating in these developments by offering exterior cladding solutions in North & South Carolina and southern Virginia. Our primary product for this new market will center around Centria.
